23 years ago, Elham embarked on a transformative journey into the realms of yoga, meditation, and spirituality. Guided by her guru, Maya Machawe, the esteemed founder of Cyclic Yoga International, Elham's path unfolded. Through dedication and immersion, she delved deep into the ancient practice of cyclic yoga—an artful integration of yogic sequences to unlock the utmost potential of mental, physical, and spiritual harmony, fostering overall well-being. With a Master's Degree in clinical psychology, Elham passionately advocates the power of yoga and conscious breathing as potent tools for clients to navigate life's challenges and emerge resilient and empowered. Her multifaceted expertise harmonizes the realms of psychology and spirituality, creating a holistic approach that nurtures mind, body, and soul.

Our Story

Hossein has passion for life and nature led him to acquiring this property in 2006. He had always had a vision for creating an environment whereby one could surrender to the beauty and peace of natural surroundings. This resolve evolved into reality! Upon finding his life partner Elham, a yoga and meditation practitioner, Lake Osceola Retreat has come into existence.

Elham’s journey into yoga, meditation, and spirituality started 23 years ago when she started her path with her guru, Maya Machawe (the founder of Cyclic Yoga International). Since then, she has immersed herself in the ancient practice of cyclic yoga, which is the art of sequencing yogic practices to attain the highest potential of mental, physical, and spiritual harmony for well-being. Elham holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and encourages the practice of yoga and breathing in helping clients overcome life’s challenges.
