Master Terms, Policies & Waiver Agreement

OVERVIEW

This Master Agreement outlines the terms, conditions, cancellation policies, credit policies, private stay terms, and waiver of liability for participation in any retreat, program, or booking with Lake Osceola Retreat.

By booking or participating, you agree to the terms below.

Lake Osceola Retreat Wellness Services Policy

At Lake Osceola Retreat, our wellness services are offered with care to support relaxation, rest, self-awareness, and overall well-being. Services may include sound healing, yoga, meditation, breathwork, energy-based practices, massage, reflexology, sauna, cold plunge, and other wellness experiences.

Complementary Wellness Services

All services offered at Lake Osceola Retreat are complementary wellness practices. They are intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, personal reflection, and a sense of balance. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, diagnostic, or therapeutic treatment.

Our practitioners do not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or prescribe for any illness, injury, disease, or mental health condition. Participation in any service does not replace medical care, psychotherapy, counseling, physical therapy, or advice from a licensed healthcare provider.

Personal Responsibility

By booking or participating in any wellness service, class, retreat activity, or individual session, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Please listen to your body, honor your personal limits, and communicate any concerns, discomfort, injuries, allergies, sensitivities, or health conditions to your practitioner before your session begins.

You may pause, modify, or stop participation in any service or activity at any time.

Medical Considerations

If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, injury, chronic pain, heart condition, seizure disorder, sensitivity to sound, recent surgery, mobility concerns, or any other health-related consideration, please consult your licensed healthcare provider before participating.

Please inform us in advance if you have any condition that may affect your participation, especially for massage, bodywork, sauna, cold plunge, yoga, breathwork, sound healing, or energy-based services.

For your safety, certain services may not be appropriate for everyone. Lake Osceola Retreat and its practitioners reserve the right to modify, postpone, or decline a service when necessary.

Sauna, Cold Plunge, and Outdoor Activities

Sauna, cold plunge, lake activities, hiking, and outdoor experiences involve inherent risks. Guests participate at their own discretion and are encouraged to consult a healthcare professional if they have any health concerns.

Please do not participate in sauna or cold plunge experiences if you are feeling unwell, dizzy, dehydrated, under the influence of alcohol or substances, or if you have been advised by a healthcare provider to avoid heat or cold exposure.

Consent and Professional Boundaries

All services are offered with respect, privacy, and clear professional boundaries. Hands-on support or bodywork will only be provided with your consent. You are always welcome to decline any technique, request adjustments, or end a session at any time.

Results and Expectations

Individual experiences and outcomes may vary. We do not guarantee specific physical, emotional, energetic, or spiritual results from any service, session, class, or retreat experience.

Emergency Care

Lake Osceola Retreat does not provide emergency medical or mental health services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate assistance from a qualified emergency healthcare provider. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 in the United States for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Agreement to Participate

By booking, attending, or participating in any service, class, retreat, or activity at Lake Osceola Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy and agree to participate voluntarily and at your own risk.

Credit Option (Flexible Alternative)

Instead of a refund, guests may choose to receive a full credit that can be used for:

• Future retreats

• Workshops & festivals

• Services offered by Lake Osceola Retreat

• Transfer to another guest as a gift

Credit Validity

All credits are valid for 365 days (1 year) from the date of issuance.

After 365 days, any unused credit will automatically expire and cannot be extended, refunded, or reinstated.

Retreat Cancellation by Organizer

If Lake Osceola Retreat must cancel a retreat for any reason, all payments will be fully refunded.

Travel Disclaimer

Lake Osceola Retreat is not responsible for travel expenses. We strongly recommend travel insurance

2. PRIVATE STAY & FULL PROPERTY RENTAL POLICY

We are grateful to host your private stay at Lake Osceola Retreat.

Booking Confirmation

All private stays require:

• A signed agreement

• A 50% deposit of total booking price

Reservations are not confirmed until both are received

Cancellation 60 Days or More Before Stay

Guests receive a full refund including deposit.

Cancellation Within 60 Days of Stay

All payments are non-refundable, but guests may reschedule.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is allowed within 365 days (1 year) from the original booking date, subject to availability.

After 365 days, the booking credit expires automatically.

Rate Changes

Rates may vary depending on season and availability.

3. WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Participation Agreement

By participating in any retreat, program, or activity, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily engaging in wellness practices including yoga, movement, meditation, and outdoor activities.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that these activities may involve inherent risks including injury, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Medical Authorization

I authorize Lake Osceola Retreat to obtain emergency medical care if needed and contact my emergency contact person.

Release of Liability

I release Lake Osceola Retreat, its owners, instructors, staff, and representatives from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation.

Food & Allergies

I am responsible for informing the retreat of any allergies or dietary restrictions and for managing my own food safety.

Media Release

I grant permission for photos or videos taken during my participation to be used for marketing and promotional purposes.
